PC/Register v:4.x Interface to PCCharge© for Windows allowing the online Consumer Credit Card purchase processing. When you maintain a permanent DSL Internet connection in your place of business, an authorization may be processed in 2 to 10 seconds. If you wish to use a modem for Dial-Up Authorizations, this time takes slightly longer.

How do I purchase ... ?

The PCR2PCCW is available from you Pc/Register Dealer.  The complete package includes all necessary software to upgrade your register system.

The software bundle includes:

  • The complete interface package including the enhanced reports,
  • PCCharge© Payment Server software,
  • Licenses for the number of registers at the clients location, and
  • Security key licenses.

The pricing is determined for the package after evaluating each location.  The PC/Register Dealer works closely with COUTS Industries to consolidate your investment.

System Requirements... ?

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
* PC (486 or higher processor Pentium 233 or higher recommended) with Windows 95, 2000, or NT
* 16 MB minimum of RAM, 32 MB preferred
* 15-30 MB of free hard drive space recommended
* CD ROM drive
* Hayes compatible modem capable of connecting at 300/1200 baud 
            and/or*
* An Internet connection (can be used for some financial networks instead of a dial-up modem) This will greatly improve your response time (approx 2-4 sec) on Authorization and Submittals.
* Laser Printer/Receipt printer

Optional:

  • Track I & II card reader (required for DEBIT/ATM, suggested for Credit Card)
  • Debit Card PIN pad (required for DEBIT/ATM) [PinPad #PP1000 by Verifone PLUS Mag-Strip Reader (MSR)]
  • Windows compatible receipt-printer
  • Check Reader

*If you elect to use the Internet option, we strongly suggest a DSL or better type line for you with 7/24 connectivity. Having a modem installed in addition to Internet is a very good idea for a backup method of authorizing and submitting, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may someday have line or hardware problems.
