| Situation: | While
using the Employee Maintenance Program, an error message “Invalid Subscript
Reference” is displayed on the Other Information or on the Taxes Screen. |
| Cause: | Certain data fields on
the “General” Screen of the Employee Maintenance Program have not been
completed. |
| Correction: | On the error message screen choose “Cancel”.
This will exit the program. Restart
the program and complete the “General” Screen with all the data elements
required on the screen. The
employee’s complete address, street, city, state and zip must be
completed, along with the Social Security Number, ID Number and Date of
Birth must be verified and entered If this data is not available, the program will not execute and will exit. If “Ignore” is selected on the error message screen, the application
will potentially cause severe damage to the Employee database. |
