Minimum Requirements
In order to provide you with a tool to enhance your environment and productivity, COUTS Industries established minimum system requirements for your hardware and software. Not having these minimum requirements may or will cause problems that as developers, we can not address. If your installation does not perform as you expect it to, verify that you have at least the requirements below:
- Intel Pentium Processor with a minimum speed of 200 Mhz;
- 64 megabytes of RAM (Random Access Memory);
- 30 Megabytes of available hard disk space;
- SVGA Monitor; (minimum of 800x600 pixel resolution)
- 4 Megabyte Video Card;
- Mouse or other pointing device;
- 8x+ CD-ROM drive;

Software installed
- a. QuickBooks Pro Version 6, 2000 or 2001 (for the Aloha 2 QuickBooks Application only)
b. Aloha POS Version 4.2x or higher
Desired Additional Software and Hardware Installed
- Symantec PCAnywhere Version 9.x or greater;
- US Robotics compatible modem minimum baud rate 38,400.
(56K Baud rate desired.); - Fax Machine - Internal or External;
- printer emulating HP LaserJet/DeskJet
(dot matrix not acceptable) - Connectivity to the Internet
Operating Systems Supported Information
Careful consideration must be made of the clients operating system prior to the installation of COUTS Industries applications. Due to significant discrepancies in the Windows 98 and Windows ME operating systems, we will not support installations on these operating systems. Installing the application on these operating systems will also void the warranty we offer.
