System Minimum Requirements 

In order to provide you with a tool to enhance your environment, COUTS Industries established minimum system requirements for your hardware and software. Not having these minimum requirements may or will cause problems that as developers, we can not address. If your installation does not perform as you expect it to, verify that you have at least the requirements below:

1. Intel Pentium Processor with a minimum speed of 200 Mhz;
2. 64 megabytes of RAM (Random Access Memory);
3. 30 Megabytes of available hard disk space;
4. SVGA Monitor; (minimum of 800 x 600 pixel resolution)
5. 4 Megabyte Video Card;
6. Mouse or other pointing device;
7. 8x CDROM drive;
8. Operating Systems Supported (See Below)
   a. Windows 2000, Windows NT Version 4.x or XP Professional. Newer version of OS subject to review AFTER 18 months from their General Release date. VISTA is currently under review.
9.  Software installed
   a. QuickBooks Pro (for the Aloha 2 QuickBooks Application only)
   b. Aloha POS Version 5.8x or higher

Desired Additional Software and Hardware Installed

1. Symantec PCAnywhere Version 11.x or greater, LogMeIn or GoToMyPC Account;
2. Internet access (DSL) or better;
3. Fax Machine - Internal or External;
4. HP LaserJet/DeskJet printer (dot matrix not acceptable)

Operating Systems Supported Information

Careful consideration must be made of the clients operating system prior to the installation of COUTS Industries applications. Due to significant discrepancies in the Windows 98 and Windows ME or and Non-PRO (i.e. XP Home, Vista Home or MultiMedia)  version operating systems, we will not support installations on  these operating systems.  Installing the application on these operating systems will also void the warranty we offer.
